Opening oneself to be touched where it matters

During the years we lived abroad we collected works of art from Africa and Asia, we met really inspiring artists. Keeping contact with this rich cultural diversity in our home country is sometimes a challenge.
I was thrilled to share the artworks in my 'home country' and give the artists/friends a forum where they could express themselves (for more information visit the facebook page). We organized a lovely exhibition and performance by our dear friends Do Tuan Anh and Ngo Hong Quang. They are great artists because they know how to touch souls.

This exhibition/performance asked the audience to be open to differences and to other genres. And it worked. If you are willing to open up and to be touched by what you hear and by what you see and feel, true healing can take place and beauty can settle in your heart. In the end it was a fantastic experience for all and the artists even sold some works. We all were open and were touched where it matters.

Through Skype we also sold African art to a well known CEO from New York who had a beautiful experience with his family in our beloved Tanzania. This is where he opened up and had quality time with his family. He felt alive. He started looking for artworks from Tanzania to remind him of a crucial turning point in his life and this is how he found out about our art gallery.
